No one wants to think about planning for death. Even fewer actually take steps to plan for death or incapacity. I get it. When I lost my dad in 2013, the plans he put together made it easier for me & my mom to make sure all of his wishes were met. That’s why I do this work.
Planning is about the ones you love. The fear, uneasiness, and discomfort that comes with considering your mortality and leaving your family does not outweigh the peace of mind and the sense of security and stability you and your family will get from estate planning.

PROFESSIONAL BIO
Jenise J. Jackson is an estate planning and probate attorney based in the greater Houston area. She obtained her juris doctorate from Georgia State College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, but is a proud Texas native. Before law school, Jenise earned a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is licensed in Texas and in Georgia. In her community, she serves as a member of the Houston Bar Association’s Real Estate and Probate section, the Texas Bar Association’s Real Estate and Probate section, and The Downtown Group. Jenise previously volunteered with the Houston Volunteer Lawyer’s Wills Clinic and the Wills Clinic held by Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.
